- A Loaded Clip-In -

A "clip-in" containing four B28 thermonuclear weapons. The entire clip was placed in a trailer, hauled to the flight line in an armed convoy, then loaded up into the bomb bay of a B-52. Notice that all the wall electrical outlets are spark proof fixtures. Each over 100 times as powerful as the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a single one of these weapons would completely destroy a very large city.  Four Mark 28s had a greater destructive power greater than all the explosives (every type of bomb, rocket, torpedoe, mine, artillery shell, etc.) used by both sides during World War II.
